The Dragon Spoke

The dragon uncoiled his serpentine body and raised his head up high. His eyes narrowed as he sniffed the air in my direction. He could smell my fear. In a deep voice he asked, “Do you know who you are?” Mesmerized by his beauty, I whispered “No.”
