Looking forward to exhibiting my work at Gallery-on-the-Boulevard this January, 2020. The gallery is at the library in Kenilworth, NJ and I was pleased to be invited to show and support the local arts scene!
Since it’s at a library in a community that prides itself on its industrial history, I decided to show pieces that have a similar visual connection with strong narratives attached.
I also enjoy the thought of more involvement with my local creative community. In these times, creating a positive community connection is more and more important.
Stories in abstract in the Suburban News
The photo below titled “I said, do you speak-a my language?” was included on the TheAppWhisperer.com’s once-a-week showcase for September 22. The website was established in 2009 and focuses on mobile photography and art.
Click here and you will see the selection of photos in a lovely video. My piece appears around 2:28.
Did knowing there was pain make you feel better?
Received a Merit Award from in the Portfolio Issue (#134) of Black&White, a magazine for collectors of fine photography. Nice that my abstract photography received attention – love seeing the lines, shadows and textures that appealed to me in a publication such as this! Should be available on newsstands (larger BnNs are a good bet) in early June! Nice way to begin the summer season!
